Homelessness is rising at an alarming rate.

The cost of living crisis, rising rents, and economic instability have driven more people into homelessness than we’ve seen in years. Recent figures show a 10% surge in homelessness in England, with 324,900 households assessed as homeless and 117,450 living in temporary accommodation—the highest number since records began in 1998.

In the face of such hardship, small acts of kindness can make a huge difference.

That’s why we’re proud to support Haircuts4HomelessUK, a charity founded by veteran hairdresser Stewart Roberts MBE, who saw firsthand the power of a simple haircut.

A haircut might seem small, but it can be a game-changer—restoring dignity, confidence, and a sense of normalcy. Haircuts 4 Homeless has built a nationwide network of over 600 volunteer hairdressers who give their time and skills to provide this service for free.

It’s not just about the haircut, it’s about human connection. Many people experiencing homelessness feel invisible, but through kindness and conversation, Haircuts 4 Homeless reminds them that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
